Secondary School
In Australia, students transfer to High School, also known as Secondary School, after they have completed Elementary School. Secondary School is divided into 2 parts – Junior (Years 7 – 10) and Senior (Years 11 -12).

To assist each girl to seek a balanced and individually suited academic program, Stella Maris College has adopted a policy of providing a very large range of subjects. The College offers over 80 courses. In Junior Years 7, 8, 9 and 10, girls must study a set of core curriculum subjects but they are able to choose additional elective subjects (see subject choices for Year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11-12).
